The division of Human Resource Research was established in 2012. It is the only research team in CASS that focuses on the research of human resource development and management. The main research fields of this division include the situation of China’s human resource supply and demand, education and training, labor migration, compensation management, performance appraisal, employee relationship management, and the personnel system reform of China’s public sector.
The main projects undertaken by this division are Labor Migration and Income Distribution (Funded by the National Social Science Fund), Education, Training and the Employment of University Students (Funded by the National Social Science Fund), The Compensation Reform of Medical Personnel (Funded by the Ministry of Health), The Human Resource Development of China’s Public Sector (Funded by the Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security), The Introduction of International Talents and the Economic Growth in China (Funded by the National Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs), The Employment of Young Migrants in China (Funded by ILO), and The Study on China’s Rural Old Age Pension System (Funded by the World Bank).
