Chinese Journal of Population Science is a bimonthly journal of national-level, first published by the Institute of Population Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1987.
With the guiding principles of nonexclusive of any school of thought and integration of theory with practice, the journal is aimed to reflect timely up-to-date academic achievements and policy suggestions in population and the related inter-disciplinary studies. It is an important window to see the views in the field of population studies and to serve as a valuable reference for various governmental sectors in policy-making.
The Journal has been ranked as a core periodical nationwide and enlarged as a form of 16 mo and 128 pages to adapt the changing situation in the field of population studies. The quality of the published have also further upgraded substantially together with the enlargement of space. It is thus attracting more attentions of demographic circles and public sectors concerned and is taken as one of top-level journal in the related fields.
Chinese Journal of Population Science gives priority to the publication of first-class articles, reviews and survey reports related to the studies of population theory and policy, demographic statistics, human capital and labor economics, international demographic comparison, population and environment, minority population, family planning theory and practice.
